You see, having a clear and exciting goal (such as being able to fit your skinny jeans in 45 days for example), and then having a clear and exciting plan in place to reach that goal, is vitally important because it will ensure motivation, focus, and the willingness to stay consistent.

Step 2 – You must ensure to never ignore the basic rules of a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, a lot of people think that all they have to do is a diet program… and that’s it. Please DO NOT think this way. Thinking this way will lead you down a path of frustration and failure faster than you can blink!

The reason it is so important to implement the basic rules of a healthy lifestyle into your program is because without doing these things, whatever diet you are on WILL NOT WORK… and not to mention, you will be at a higher percentage to regain whatever weight you’ve just lost!

The basic rules of a healthy lifestyle are:

A.) Drinking at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of fresh filtered water throughout the day.

B.) Getting a minimum of 7 hours of sleep every night.

C.) Making sure you do both cardio (I recommend high intensity interval cardio for best results) and resistance training (building muscle is even more important than cardio) at least 3 times a week!

D.) Getting all types of healthy nutrients in your body without severe restrictions (which of course means that you will certainly have to do away with fad diets).

Step 3 – You must choose the right diet program to begin with. This is where a lot of people go wrong. Most people will just choose the most popular diet they see or they will choose a diet that just “sounds” like it will work.
