You can make your body slimmer and you can most certainly do so easily, consistently, and quickly. Unfortunately, many people end up falling for a lot of weight loss myths that spring up like weeds all over the Internet, T.V., magazines, and more! Now there are a couple of very bad myths I wanted to talk to you about today, and hopefully, by the end of this article you’ll get some more clarity on what really does work to NATURALLY, easily, and consistently get in the best shape of your life.
The First One Is: Only Drink A Moderate Amount Of Water, Otherwise, You’ll Add On Several Pounds…
Boy, when I first heard this myth, I was incredibly shocked to say the least! I just couldn’t believe that there are actually people (including so-called experts) out there telling us that it’s important to not drink an adequate amount of water because it will add-on more pounds! My friend, please don’t fall for this. This is very far from the truth. Drinking more water will not put on more pounds, it will actually help you lose weight! This is because with the more water you drink, the more your body will release water weight!
Now you could end up feeling pretty bloated if you are drinking plenty of water, and at the same, you are consuming too much sodium or eating too much processed foods. So, it’s pretty important that you decrease your sodium intake and consumption of processed foods, and not just because to avoid feeling bloated, but also because both of those things are extremely bad for your overall health.
Now, of course, drinking TOO MUCH water is not a good idea. And this is because it will put too much pressure on your kidneys along with causing other health concerns. The best way to know how much water you need to drink is to simply take your current body-weight, divide that number in half, and then drink that amount in ounces of fresh cold water daily. If you are more active in your day-to-day activities, if you are doing higher intensity exercises (which I recommend by the way), etc., then I would recommend you drink a little bit more.
The Next One Is: You Have To Exercise For HOURS A Day To Get An Amazing Body…
This is a very common myth, and is certainly one that is causing many people to become frustrated, end up with injuries from excessive exercising, and not getting the results they hoped for. This is also something that most people assume is the case when they see people with those amazing bodies. They automatically think that in order to get a lean, toned, and sexy body, that you are going to have to spend hours in the gym, take a ton of supplements and diet pills, and eat one carrot a day (LOL)!
You DO NOT have to exercise for hours a day to get an incredible body. There are many different exercise programs that you can do in the comfort of your own home and you can get an incredible body without tons of gym equipment and without spending hours a day.
The best types of exercises to do are high intensity interval training (or H.I.I.T for short) and using your body-weight (and/or very light equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, etc.). Basically, these types of workouts are done in a circuit (multiple exercises done without rest or with very little rest). You will be combining both weight training and cardiovascular exercises all in one.
This type of exercising takes 10-20 minutes to do, you will SKYROCKET your metabolism, you will increase your heart rate, you will sweat your butt off, you’ll burn off stored body fat much quicker, and as long as you follow a program accordingly, you will cause absolutely no injuries!
