I’m sorry… If you have the desire to lose fat from your stomach, back, face, love handles, thighs, hips, butt, neck, and arms, then what I’m about to talk about in today’s post is going to be pretty upsetting. If you’re afraid that you are going to be overwhelmed with anxiety and lose a TON of motivation with what I’m about to share with you today, then you might not want to read this… This right here is going to a be a heart-breaker!

My friend, I hate to break this disturbing news to you, but if you need to lose fat from any one of those specific areas I mentioned above, then I’m afraid you are NOT going to have any luck…

3. Weigh yourself. Now divide that number in half. Whatever that number is, drink that amount in ounces of fresh water daily (and make sure to do so CONSISTENTLY throughout the day for best results). The key is to STAY hydrated… and not just drink a ton of water a couple of times a day.
4. Interested in fad dieting (low-carb, low-calorie, low-fat, etc.)? Forgeddaboutit! Fad dieting is not only ineffective, those types of diets can end up slowing your metabolism down, and so much more.

5. Of course, to get the ultimate physique, you are going to have to do both cardio and weight training exercises. That being said, the most effective thing you can do is to do both cardio and weight training exercises mixed together. Two examples of this type of exercising is doing super-sets (switching between different workouts without rest) and doing a circuit training routine (such as push ups, squats, jogging in place, jumping jacks, etc.).
Now, to “help” improve the specific trouble-spots you may be having, there are some specific things you can do. But please remember, everything I just mentioned above MUST be done… not just the things I’m about to discuss. I’ve also added some videos that I found useful:
To help specifically with your stomach:
To tone your stomach and strengthen your core, I recommend doing dead-lifts (yes, they do help with strengthening your core), slooowwww movement concentrated crunches, slooowwww movement concentrated leg raises, and abdominal bicycle twists to name a few.
Also, reducing stress can help remove stubborn fat (such as that around your stomach). This is because with having too much stress, a chemical is released in your body called cortisol. When too much of this chemical is released, it is stored in your body as extra body fat… especially around the belly area. So, to help with reducing stubborn fat, I strongly recommend you also work on reducing stress as well. Some of the things you can do are deep breathing exercises, stretching exercises, regular exercising, listening to mellow music like Callie Moore, and more!

To help specifically with your back:
The best exercises (in my opinion) for your upper back would be lat pull downs, pull ups, and cable rows. For your lower back, I recommend dead lifts. Also, this is a common area where injuries develop. So, PLEASE be careful, consult a physician before doing any workout, practice PROPER FORM, wear back belts, etc. to ensure you avoid causing injuries.
