3. I drank a lot of water. It’s said that we should consume at least 8 glasses of water per day. Truthfully though, I never drank so much in one day but I did drank more than I was accustom to before I was trying to lose the excess pounds.
4. I took a multivitamin daily to make up for my lack of nutrients. Since I was cutting back on my calories, I need to ensure that my body was still getting the essential nutrients it need to give me the energy to do my day to day activities.
5. I took a protein shake to replace one of my meals on a daily basis. This also helped to tone my muscles as proteins are the building blocks for muscles.
6. I ate a lot more fruits and vegetables. The good thing bout s and vegetables is that they contain fewer calories when compared to other foods and they keep you filled for longer periods of time.
7. Most importantly I performed cardio and other exercises one hour per day for at least 4 days per week.
