Eat Bread And Still Lose Weight? Here’s The Healthiest Bread To Eat (Without Sacrificing Taste!)

Eat bread and still lose weight and burn fat? Say it ain’t so! It’s true, you can still eat bread and get the body of your dreams. But of course there is still a big BUT with eating bread. In today’s post I wanted to talk to you about the healthiest bread to eat to lose weight… but without sacrificing taste or quality.

Okay, first things first. What type of bread should you avoid? Well, that’s pretty simple. The number one type of bread to avoid is anything white. Breads made with white flour are high in bad carbohydrates (sugar). Also, I recommend that you avoid eating “so-called” healthy wheat breads that are low-fat, low-carb, low-calorie, and/or made with aspartame and high fructose corn syrup.

The best type of bread to eat is whole grain bread made with natural ingredients… period.

Now, which brand is best? Well, one of the most nutritious breads I found was the P28 bread. Now, this bread is LOADED with protein (14 grams per slice… and I’m not kidding), and it has a great amount of whole grains, healthy carbohydrates, and even healthy fat. BUT, the taste is unbearable!

When I first found out about this bread, I was so excited. I thought FINALLY, I can have a bread that has just as much protein as the typical meat I eat with breads (tuna, turkey, and chicken). I was so excited in fact that I made the trip specifically to go to the supplement supply store to pick it up… and I never make trips to go anywhere unless I’m getting multiple things!

As soon as I returned home, I tasted one little piece of a slice of bread and thought it tasted great. Then I made a turkey sandwich and that’s when I really got the full scoop on the taste of this bread. Yuck! Not only was the taste not so great, it also had a rubbery texture to it when chewing it! Some people may find this bread to be tasty or at least bearable, but it just wasn’t for me.
