6 Reasons Not Drinking Enough Water For Weight Loss Is Just Crazy!

Are you struggling to lose weight fast? Have you been going on all types of diets and exercise programs… and yet you STILL have several pounds of fat to lose? Well, the reason you may not be getting the results you have been hoping for could be something that is often neglected when it comes to getting in shape, building muscle, and enhancing one’s overall health. If you would take just a couple of minutes out of your day and read this article here, you’ll discover 6 reasons why not getting enough of one VERY important thing can be the BIGGEST mistake you could make for not only getting the body of your dreams, but also to ensure you are in good health.

Alright, when you want to lose weight, burn fat, and/or build muscle, what are the first things that come to mind? Did you answer diet, exercise, and perhaps taking natural supplements? If so, you’re right. However, there are other things that are often overlooked that can make a HUGE difference in you either getting results or you maintaining your current size. Those things are eating foods in a way to boost your metabolism (such as shifting calories), getting a lot of rest, having cheat days the smart way, and drinking plenty of water.

What I wanted to talk to you about today was the last thing I mentioned: Drinking plenty of water. I’m sure you’ve probably heard this tip a gazillion times, but trust me on this, it’s worth hearing a gazillion more times! Not drinking enough water is by far the BIGGEST MISTAKE you can make if you want to lose weight fast. Why is that? Here are 6 reasons:

1. Water retention…

With you not drinking plenty of water, you are more than likely going to retain water. When this happens, you pack on several pounds of water weight. This will also give you that bloated look and feel that most of us hate with a passion (I know I did)!

2. Muscle building is ineffective…

Most people think that getting a lot of protein, lifting a lot of weights, and taking some fancy and expensive supplements is all that it takes to build muscle. WRONG! Eating the right foods, getting a lot of sleep, and drinking A LOT of water is absolutely vital if you want to build muscle. Water helps in the building and recovery process with your muscle tissue.

3. You’ll cause problems with your digestive system…

Many people don’t realize that in order for food to process effectively through the digestive tract, you must get plenty of water to assist in digestion. If you don’t, you’ll end up with digestive problems (cramping, bloating, constipation, and more). Also, if you are eating a moderate amount of fiber… and you’re not getting enough water… you are certainly asking for trouble!

4. You’ll retain toxins and parasites in your body…

From eating processed foods, simply breathing in air, drinking tap water, and more, all of us over time can accumulate a lot of toxins in our bodies. These toxins can be responsible for bloating, digestive problems, weight gain, excess belly fat, and more. In order to remove these toxins, two things are highly recommended. One thing is to detoxify your body (make sure it is 100% natural detoxification), and the other thing is drinking a lot of water to flush these toxins out. If you don’t drink plenty of water, you are at a higher risk of retaining these dangerous toxins.

5. You’ll have little energy…

Getting energy is typically synonymous with getting a lot of caffeine, sugar, or some other type of unnatural method. This of course is never a good thing to do. Having said that, if you seem to have very little energy throughout the day, it could be because you are not getting enough water. Drinking plenty of water is like fuel for your body!

6. You won’t be able to burn fat effectively…

Fat metabolization requires the right type of dieting (which is eating frequently, shifting calories around, and eating as clean as possible), the right type of exercising (which is building lean muscle and doing interval training), improving your digestive system (such as by getting a moderate amount of fiber and antioxidants in your diet), and drinking A LOT of water. If you do everything else, but skip the “drinking more water” part, results WILL NOT come… and that’s how powerful ensuring you get a lot of water is!
