1 Workout Tip To Lose Weight Fast

Time is a huge commodity in this day and age, especially if you’re a parent. There’s so much “stuff” pulling your attention in so many different directions it can make your head spin. This makes trying to lose weight, and trying to lose weight fast, a pretty difficult thing to do.

Add to that the confused state you’re put into because of all the different workouts and diet tricks people tell you to do. Should you focus on that fancy new boot camp workout or super-intense infomercial or that crazy diet?

Should you do an extreme diet for a week or two, or go to the exercise class?

It makes my head spin, so I can’t imagine what it is doing to you!

To help you along the weight loss path, here’s a quick tip to help you lose fat fast…

You should begin AND end each workout with a high “metabolic” exercise like Burpees, Squat Thrusts, Jump Squats or even Skipping Rope.

Doing an exercise like those mentioned at the beginning of your workout will crank up the calories you burn for the rest of the workout tremendously, without sapping your muscles of their strength (which could hinder your workout results, which will limit your weight loss results).

You would then go on with your regular workout, whether it takes 10 minutes or 20 minutes, and finish it off with the same metabolic exercise.

You’re kind of “Book Ending” your workout with butt-kicking weight loss exercises!

The benefit of doing the same exercise at the end is that it’s kind of like a “finisher.”

It’s a way to finish your workout strong and really make you “feel” as though you’ve worked out, without making you feel like you can’t go on with your day (I hate workouts that leave you feeling down the rest of the day). If you structured your workout properly (or are following an awesome weight loss workout program), this metabolic exercise won’t sap your energy levels and will instead shoot your energy levels through the roof!

My clients know when I get a goofy smile on my face toward the end of the workout that I’m going to make them finish their workout with one of my patented “Finisher” exercises, but they do it because they know the benefits and they can feel the calories melting off their stomachs for hours after they’re done.

Let’s say you pick Burpees as your metabolic exercise to help you lose weight fast before and after your workout.

You do a few sets of 10 before the workout (which will only take a couple minutes), and then go on with a circuit of the following exercises:

1) Push-up – 10 reps
2) Reverse Lunge w/1-Arm Shoulder Press – 8 reps per leg/arm
3) DB Rear Fly – 15 reps
4) 1 ½ Squat – 15 reps

You’d do that circuit for 10 minutes, and then go right back into the Burpees for another few sets of 10 and then you’re done.

Butt kicked, muscles worked, calories burned and metabolism elevated for hours, which means…

…You will lose weight fast and you’ll keep it off!
